Chris Poad specializes in managing the design and construction of major healthcare development projects. He has over 25 years of healthcare project management and facilities maintenance experience, specializing in electrical engineering.
In his previous role as Director of Design and Construction at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, Chris oversaw the management of an approximately $45 million annual capital construction and renovation budget. He is knowledgeable on construction standards, including architectural, mechanical and electrical specifications with proven results in implementing best practices. He has extensive experience in healthcare facility space programming, facility master planning, cost estimating and construction feasibility.
