Alma Maldonado Figueroa

Alma Maldonado Figueroa serves as Senior Associate within HSR’s Los Angeles office. Alma primarily focuses on identifying multifamily acquisition opportunities within Southern California. She is responsible for formulating land valuation and entitlement analyses to determine investment potential of various development opportunities.

Alma has a background in public affairs and policy, where she advised corporate, public, and non-profit clients on legislative and public affairs strategy at the state and local levels of government.

Alma graduated with an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business while completing the Price School of Public Policy Certificate of Real Estate Development. She holds a bachelor’s degree from UCLA.

Prior to business school and joining HSR, Alma led strategy advising as a public affairs consultant to business-interest clients in Sacramento and Los Angeles Metro. Alma began her career in Washington, D.C. on Capitol Hill and working on political campaigns.
